The Way of the Cross

So you’ve dropped your cross again!

Dear Member,

In an earlier unit, I mentioned the importance of understanding why we so easily revert to our destructive habits and behaviours.  I have fallen countless times and I have got up just as many.  For me, the real damage is caused to our souls when we refuse to get off the ground.  When, in our pride, we are unable to accept that we are ‘imperfect’.  This is a battle we can never win without God’s Grace and the help of our fellow men.

Falling into sin is easy – we all do it, in countless ways.  All of us offend God daily.  Many of us don’t even realise it.  We prefer to live our lives amongst the unbelievers; the ones who help us feel good about ourselves…
