Day 7 – Purity Plans

Another warm welcome on this rainy afternoon.  An ideal opportunity to continue the 40 day challenge. Today is another great example and I would urge you to spend the time studying it.  As for me, I honestly feel a little more vulnerable than normal.  A lot is happening in my life and I am finding old thoughts have a little more ability to sway me right now.  So today’s challenge was perfect. Read on to benefit…

My Conclusion:
This is as much about filling your day with healthy routines as with battling the devil called ‘boredom’.  I am a big advocate for lists and have recognised that if they are properly constructed they bear good fruit.
Points 22 – 25 ring particularly true to me and are core aspects of my battle plan.  If you are able to identify the trigger properly then you must also accept it as a ‘near occasion of sin’ – if it isn’t a sin in itself.  Amputate it from your life always.  This is particularly apt for me.
The 33 daily motivational tips also work within a structured daily routine.

I pray for you all daily and hope you are taking the opportunity to offer up any devotions or denials to the Fellowship.  Never forget your good efforts will help others in the fight.
Yours in Jesus, Mary & Joseph,
SA James
