Day 21 – The Science of Pornography

Well, I took my own advice and after completing the Self Help Unit I went outside and did an hour of gardening.  I then completed The Little Office and walked into town reciting the Rosary (not too obviously).  Played two games of pool with a friend and then returned home to watch an episode from my favorite series – NCIS.
I resisted the urge to binge on a 2nd episode and instead  looked at all the news sites whilst listening to a Sunday sermon from the SSPX website.  It’s now three cups of coffee and a chocolate cake later – yup – bit of an addict in that area!  Truthfully, I recognise I should break from the internet but decided to complete the Day 21 Challenge and send in my blog.
Will continue reading Cadfael (Ellis Peters) when I finish and then I’m going swimming – hopefully I don’t drown.  That should bring me back home to greet my returning family and hear about the joys of work 🙂

My Conclusion:
When I completed this challenge last year it was this section that really opened my eyes to the deviousness of pornography and its creators.  I am not a big conspiracy theorist but I do recognise the devil has many plans to  upset the natural balance of ‘man and wife’.
It really helped me to understand how I could have been hooked so easily by this addiction AND why it remains so difficult to erase from my mind.

Enjoy the rest of your day and remember that pornography doesn’t make you happy – it just make you think your happy…
Yours in Jesus, Mary & Joseph
